Koa wood is directly imported from Hawaii and is one of the most spectacular woods in the world. This wood is one of the most wood possessing a range of colors. Koa can only be found in the Hawaiian Islands. It is best grown on the "Big Island" and grows at higher elevations. Each of these pieces is selected for their curl and coloring. This is a very wood due to the limit supply and small source. Color range can Yellow, Gold, Red, Pink, and Brown.
All pieces are dried before shipping and kept indoors to reduce the humidity changes on the wood.
