Black palm wood is a hard and dense wood that has a stringy style grain. Typically requires stabilization to create a nice finished pen.

Black Palm comes from Tropical Asia and Africa. The Black fibers in the wood offer a light tan and brown colored figure and grain. This wood is chosen for its beautiful finish, but it can be difficult to work with.
